This stylish Fife Arms wedding was a Kling Klang extravaganza! For those that don’t know, Kling Klang represents offbeat beauty, the sound of randomness and nature! It’s the opposite of ding dong which represents formality and order! Kling Klang was the theme of the weekend and WHAT A WEEKEND! Out of the ordinary for Coorie, as it was a larger wedding, but one that we were so excited to bring together.
Carolyn had an incredible vision of a woodland ceremony featuring wild, natural floristry as an extension of the magical surroundings! The location we found was a cocoon of evergreen trees, with a mossy knoll for our stage, and a heather clad floor for the guests. We even managed to turn on some incredible sun beams through the trees.
The ceremony was beautifully led by the truly wonderful Anna Gilchrist, Damien & Carolyn’s namesake! The Gilchrist clan! After the ceremony we travelled to the incredible Linn of Dee, a place with huge meaning for Carolyn and Damien! It was here vows were set in stone, with guests throwing their rose quartz in the water with well wishes and love!
The afternoon and evening were spent back at The Fife Arms, with cocktails, Champagne and oysters! A celebration of opulence with an array of rich colours, beautiful fabrics, roaring fires and candlelight!
