Sometimes you meet people and instantly feel connected, as though you’ve known them forever, that’s exactly how it feels with Aneesha & Ross. Together since their teenage years, it only takes a few moments in their company to see they are true soulmates. They move through life completely in sync: thoughtful, creative, and deeply connected.
For their wedding day, they envisioned something personal, relaxed, and immersed in the breathtaking beauty of autumn. No fuss or formality, just a celebration that felt authentically theirs. They dreamed of a magical woodland ceremony beneath a canopy of golden leaves, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature, so I set to work curating a collection of special location ideas. Known as “Big Tree Country,” Dunkeld is celebrated for its towering Douglas firs and enchanting ancient forests, making it the perfect setting for their day. Out of all the locations I shared with Aneesha & Ross, this was the one that captured their hearts most! This made me especially happy, as Dunkeld holds a very special place in mine too.
For their post-ceremony celebrations, privacy was incredibly important to them, so we decided against a hotel. Instead I focused on finding somewhere secluded, cosy, and romantic. Glen Glack Cabins couldn’t have been more perfect. Tucked away on the edge of Cally Loch, Glen Glack offers five luxury bespoke cabins nestled within a peaceful retreat immersed in nature. Thoughtfully designed to complement their stunning lochside setting, each cabin has its own unique character, complete with a private veranda and cosy wood-burning stove. With breathtaking views across the water and the tranquillity of the surrounding woodland, it felt like the ideal place for them to truly unwind and celebrate together.
Our next focus was food, an incredibly important part of the experience for them both. As passionate lovers of Asian cuisine who follow a vegan lifestyle, I knew a private chef experience would be the perfect fit for their evening celebration. They chose Comhla to create a bespoke menu, bringing their love of all things Japanese into the celebration!
